ANTEC MAGNETS IS COMMITTED TO ELECTROMEDICINE
In its current issue, the Empresa XXI Newspaper echoes the main projects of Antec Magnets in the field of Electromedicine. Our participation in the startup Cyclomed, along with CIEMAT, the Botín Foundation and a group of researchers stands out, for which, in collaboration with CIEMAT, a superconducting compact cyclotron has been developed.
High field magnet design and Magnet Technology, overall, have a big role in the development of new medical diagnosis equipment. Some magnet design concepts developed for accelerators in high energy physics and for fusion reactors (i.e., high magnetic field, low He use etc.) may be transferred to perform in new human MRI devices. Antec is cooperating with several European companies for that purpose.
