ANTEC PARTICIPATES IN CYCLOMED MANUFACTURING A SUPERCONDUCTOR MAGNET WITH MEDICAL APPLICATIONS
Through the technological contribution of its subsidiary ANTEC MAGNETS, ANTEC participates in Cyclomed Technologies, a company of biomedical technology focused on labeling molecules with Carbon-11.
Together with CIEMAT, Fundación Botín, Chasing Science and a group of researchers, Cyclomed was born to offer the technology developed by ANTEC and CIEMAT to the most advanced medical services.
More than 25 years working in the design and manufacturing industrial electromagnets, in collaboration with important scientific institutions such as CERN, CIEMAT, ALBA ESS Bilbao, STFC, PSI, CNAO, XFEL etc. have allowed ANTEC MAGNETS to acquire the knowledge to manufacture superconducting magnets like those provided for the Cyclomed project.
