DUAL SPRING HYDRAULIC BRAKES / Emergency Brakes
Dual spring hydraulic brakes are friction brakes which are composed of two symmetrical semi calipers. They are mechanically activated by the action of a spring. As a control element, a piston is activated hydraulically to release the brake. The brake opening force depends directly on the hydraulic pressure. The maximum opening pressure for this type of brake is 21Mpa, while the minimum varies depending on the spring force.
