Floating Hydraulic Brakes

ANTEC started out by designing and manufacturing industrial brakes. We are one of the world leaders in this segment due to our vast experience, wide range of products including electro-hydraulic, hydraulic and electromagnetic technology, and our ability to deliver products complying with international standards (German DIN standards, French S standards and American AISE standards).

FLOATING HYDRAULIC BRAKES / Emergency Brakes

Floating hydraulic brakes are friction brakes that, in the absence of power, are mechanically activated by the action of a spring.  As a control element, It uses a piston hydraulically activated to release the brake.  They are floating mono spring brakes, which do not transmit any axial force, protecting the system from damages when braking, even if there is an incorrect adjustment or an error in the installation.  The maximum pressure to open the brake is 21 MPa, while the minimum varies depending on the spring force.
